Our commitment to quality is a key driver of our business. It provides customers with the confidence that their ingredients are being sourced, manufactured, stored, and handled to the highest standards.

Animal feed ingredients are available as:

Corn gluten feed is a nutritious/palatable maize/corn protein, starch and fibre mix generated from the maize/corn milling process. It is a highly digestible energy-giving feed that is usually included at 10-40% of compound feeds. It allows maximum flexibility in ruminant rations as a complete or partial replacement for grain or as a replacement for the major portion of protein derived from traditional protein sources.

Corn gluten meal is a digestible, protein-rich feed with a natural presence of xanthophyll that aids the colouring of animal products. It is highly palatable and is used extensively in nutrient dense salmon and trout feed mixtures. In the EU our corn meal is GMO-free. In the US, non-GMO corn gluten meal is produced at our Lafayette, Indiana North facility. This plant uses only strict identity preserved corn hybrids (Hard IP). Only approved contract growers, planting specific approved non-GM seed varieties, and following rigorous procedures are used for this program. Corn is GM tested before final approval for delivery to the plant.

Corn steep liquor (also known as condensed fermented corn extractives) is a protein-rich liquid for use in pig and ruminant feeds, but can also be used in other feed types as a nutritional binding/pelleting agent. It is a high energy liquid ingredient consisting of the soluble portions of the corn kernel removed by the steeping process and concentrated into higher solids.

Brand names include: Amygold®, Albumex®, Amysteep®

Molasses is a co-product of the cane and beet sugar industries. This sticky palatable liquid offers exceptional nutritional befits as a natural energy source. It is a natural binder for feed compound production and an established animal feed ingredient in farm diets. We offer a broad range of molasses and molasses based animal feed ingredients.

Natural astaxanthin: Aquasta™ is a natural source of astaxanthin fermented from dextrose. It replaces previous nutrients that have been chemically derived from synthetics as opposed to fermented from renewable carbohydrates. Developed with our partner Igene, Aquasta™ is an essential nutrient for farm-raised fish that delivers characteristic colour to the flesh of salmon and trout, as well as some other marine organisms. It contains a minimum of 8000 parts per million of astaxanthin and has been approved as a feed ingredient in Chile, Canada, the United States, and Japan. The process to obtain approval in Europe is underway.

Please note that composition can vary slightly depending on production location.
